Lindy Fralin are one of the premier makers of custom wound guitar pickups. These pickups for Fender Jazz Bass are a great upgrade and anyone out there with a Mexican JB should seriously consider fitting these.
This set includes one bridge position pickup and one neck position pickup that drop right into your old or new USA Jazz Bass and even most imports. Construction features include Alnico V magnets, vintage style 42 gauge Heavy Formvar wire, black fibreboard base, black plastic pickup covers and cloth covered output leads. This set is wound to vintage specs of around 8.5K for the bridge and 8.0K for the neck position, mounting screws are included.
If you have a Mexican, Japan or other Precision Bass you should upgrade not just the factory pickups but all of the electronics right down to the output jack and every piece of wire. You'll never hear how good your bass can sound if you don't have good pots, capacitor, jack, wire and solder 'under the hood'. Strangely we have some great bass upgrade kits.
