Our Pre-Wired pickguards are individually assembled to your specification.
We start with a standard configuration of CTS pots, CRL switch, Jupiter capacitor, vintage cloth wire, aluminium shield plate switchcraft socket and a set of 11 stainless steel counter sunk screws.
Our HSS wiring uses two volumes and master tone. The top volume is a 250K pot for the single coil pickups position 5, 4, 3.
The middle control is a 500K volume for the Bridge Humbucker in position 1 and we put a 300K pot for the master tone.
In position 2, Middle and Bridge, the two volumes are somewhat interactive like on a 50's wired Les Paul so the top volume controls the Middle and the middle volume the Bridge so you can blend the two pickups but a bit like a Les Paul if you turn either all the way down then they are both off.
From the drop down menus choose your pickups, you can then upgrade the volume to an RS Guitarworks Superpot. Then choose between the standard Jupiter or an RS Guitarworks POI capacitor then go on to choose the colour of the covers, knobs and tips and lastly if you want the '62 or the '64 hole pattern.
Pickup Choises:
Lollar suggest the Imperial Low Wind with Blonde neck and middle and Standard Imperial with Sixty Four neck and middle.
F or G Spaced Humbucker:
If you have a Fender bridge with string spacing of 2 7/32" - 56.4mm then you should select the F Spaced humbucker (53mm poles) but if you have 2 1/16" - 52.4mm (some Mexican or other or if you have or fit a Callaham Vintage Narrow bridge) then you should select G Spaced (50mm poles) humbucker.
Solderless Connection:
You can add our Solderless Connection System from the drop down below. We solder the high quality machined male and female gold plated micro connections to the wires coming from the pick guard and to the socket. The connectors are small enough to pass through the hole from the socket cavity and into the main control cavity.
