If you are upgrading the controls on your Les Paul or similar with an RS Guitarworks Pre-Wired or other kit or just with replacement parts it makes sense to rewire your control circuit to the 3 way toggle switch.
This kit is made up with Push Back Braided wire prepared at the 3 way toggle end with the braid cleared exposing the cloth wire. The harness has been prepared in the same way as it was back in the day with an additional piece of cloth push back wire wrapped around the braided sleeve for the earth connection to the 3 way toggle switch.
The kit comes with a wiring diagram and instructions which clearly explains how to wire up your controls.
