This fine neck plate is made from solid stainless steel, and is heavier than normal at .075" (1.9 mm) thick, which prevents it from bending like almost all other neck plates where the corners tend to dig in as the screws are tightened, this plate remains dead flat.

In addition the base is machined to be dead flat, unlike almost all other plates that are simply stamped out.

The screws sit in properly machined counter sunk recesses for an even pull as you tighten down. 

This plate is blank without serial numbers.

These neck plates are polished to a high lustre and then aged individually by us at Charles Guitars to a lovely soft reliced finish.  All Callaham are shipped with screws and these have also been lightly reliced.

This aging process is carried out buy us at Charles Guitars and is not the distressed finish from Callaham Guitars.
