This is a perfect replacment for your PRS and is milled one piece at a time on a CNC from a single billett of Bell Brass and then hand polished and nickel plated to a very high standard and features the "Advanced String Guide", which goes from a round groove into a V-notch in order to create perfect tension and string contact.
Almost all other Stop Bars are die cast in zinc or aluminium because it was the only way to produce complex shapes back in the day, no CNC's in the 50's. What no one realized was that a die casting is a terrible material for use in guitar bridges and is virtually incapable of promoting harmonic overtones relying on the power of the pickups to do all the work. This solid Bell Brass unit gives your strings a very solid anchor point and so allows them to ring freely which adds to great tone.
There is also an Aluminium unit in our web shop which has a different tonal range with a bit more "air" not better just diffrent.
The unit comes complete with studs and press in bushings which of course you do not need if you are upgrading an exsisting guitar. This unit coms complete with large head studs and hex wrench. For Asian guitars you may need M8 studs which you can select from the menu below.
