Our Luxe Pre-Wired kits are assemble by us in the UK using the best components and wiring them in a vintage correct manner.
For our Bumblebee kits we measure the value of each CTS "CG" pot to create matched sets to give you an even response when rolling down your volume and tone controls and then carefully assemble the kit using vintage correct bus wire and of course Luxe Capacitors.
This kit has a matched set of Bumblebee capacitors, each cap is hand wound on a 1932 Sprague Specialties Co. Winding Machine replica using exact vintage spec foil and paper film. They're hand soldered, hand cast in oven-proof thermoplastic, hot vacuum impregnated with pure castor oil and hand-painted and are finished with authentic impregnated spaghetti tubing.
Pickup Easy Connection:
To connect Gibson style 2 conductor pickups you need to solder the braid to the back of the pot and the hot to the tab. With our Easy Solder option yo wrap the white/yellow wire around the braid and solder and the hot to the hot from the pickup and seal with the included heat shrink that you can heat with your soldering iron.
