Lindy Fralin are one of the premier makers of custom wound guitar pickups.  Lindy's P90's are some of the best out there and his understanding of what makes a great P90 shines through.

This set is a fine upgrade for Gibson, Epiphone and other guitars equipped with dual P90 soap bar pickups including SG, Les Paul etc. The set consists of one 8% overwound vintage wound bridge pickup and one stock neck pickup, for a set with that bit extra bite and growl, this set really delivers.  

This set has an RW/RP reverse wound/reverse magnetic polarity relationship. When the two pickups are combined this results in a significant reduction in hum and noise over conventional P90 pickups.

Construction features of the Fralin 90 Soap Bar Balanced Pickups Set include two plastic soap bar pickup covers , adjustable pole pieces, Alnico IV bar magnets, vintage style dark enamel coil wire wound to approximately 10,800 turns on the bridge pickup and 10,000 turns on the neck pickup, black plastic coil forms and '50s Gibson style single conductor output lead wires with braided outer shield. Four nickel plated oval phillips head mounting screws are included.

Please note that these pickups are for guitars where the pickup is screwed directly down to the body cavity. If you have a modern Gibson SG or other guitar where the pickup is mounted through the pickguard this set is not suitable.
